F1RST

F1RST works to ensure that young people from non-academic backgrounds and underrepresented groups have the right conditions to succeed. Through partnerships with schools, universities, and companies, F1RST opens doors, shares knowledge, and builds networks that create new opportunities.
The Bonnier Family Foundation, together with Bonnier News and Bonnier Books, has entered into a strategic knowledge partnership with F1RST—an initiative dedicated to increasing visibility and creating more educational and career pathways for talented young people from non-academic backgrounds and underrepresented groups. Through this collaboration, participants gain insight into careers within the media and publishing industries through mentorship, internships, and inspirational events.
Founded by the Stockholm School of Economics and the Daniel Sachs Foundation, F1RST works to broaden access to higher education—from early schooling to the first job. Since its inception, the initiative has engaged more than 1,500 young talents across Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg.
“F1RST is a fantastic initiative that fosters greater inclusion and highlights the talent and ambition of more individuals.” said Fabian Bonnier, Chairman of the Bonnier Family Foundation.
